Tour Information

Below are all of our tour and tasting offerings. Take advantage of our competitive pricing and unique tour and tasting itineraries to make the most out of your stay with us in Romero Distilling Co.

  • Standard tour and tasting

    Conducted in groups of up to 10 at a time, about 1hr long

    Experience a formal tasting of our Rums and Sugarcane Spirits.Go through the largely untold history of rum running in Alberta and learn about one of Canada's most notorious rum running murders.Tour the distillery and learn about the rum making process in detail.

  • Custom Blend Tour

    Conducted in groups of up to 10, can be booked as a group or booked individually, about 1.5 hours long

    During this tour you will make a bottle of customized sugarcane spirit (yours to keep) by blending different spice infusions and flavours in one bottle. We will also share some of the history of Alberta's rum running operations during Prohibition.We will take you through the distilling process and you will experience a tour of our facility including the still room and a tasting of different infused and flavoured sugarcane spiritsExamples of infusions and flavours include: Vanilla, caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, orange zest and cracked pepper   Place cork and label

  • Custom Cask Tour for 2

    Intended for 2 people (friend, or significant other)

    This tour and tasting is a private affair and you will have 40 bottles of custom finished rum, after it has matured for one month.We will also take you through the distilling process and you will experience a tour of our facility including the still room. We also share some of the history of Alberta’ s rum running operations during prohibition.The Custom Cask Tour includes:40 bottles of custom finished rum (one month later once the rum has matured)2 x private tour and tastingSelect the finish that you would like for your rum2 x branded golf shirtsYou will. also receive the custom branded 200 litre cask that your rum was aged in – we will work with you to have a brand developed that can be painted on your cask.

    $1250 deposit to reserve custom production$1250 at time of bottling and pickup$62.50/bottle all included.

  • Team Offsite / Team Building - Custom Cask

    This includes the private use of the bar and tasting room from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM for team meetings and presentations
