Amber Rum - Sherry Cask Finish.

Aged 5 years, this rum starts with Glacier-fed water from the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies and Canadian made molasses derived from Guatemalan sugarcane.  The rum is matured for 3 years in once used bourbon barrels from Woodford Reserve, and finished for an additional 2 years in oloroso sherry casks we import from Jerez, Spain.  Extremely easy drinking, this rum is best served neat, on a large cube, or in a premium cocktail.

Tasting Notes

Opens with notes of vanilla, butterscotch and caramel and has a long sherry finish with hints of almond and dried fruit.  With subtle hints of leather, pipe tobacco, and dark chocolate appearing as you continue to sip.
