A Unique Collaboration.
Done as a fundraiser for Carifest, Calgary's Caribbean carnival. Half the proceeds from the sale of every bottle go back to the festival.
This limited edition, single barrel expression combines the history and culture from Calgary's Caribbean community and the expertise and passion of our local master distillers. Rocky Mountain glacier water, Canadian processed fancy and blackstrap molasses, caramel, vanilla beans and nutmeg provide the base and notes for this unique and delicious rum. Distilled in a Canadian made copper pot still and aged in freshly emptied bourbon barrels from Woodford Reserve until the desired maturation is achieved. This is a truly unique collaboration, limited to 360 bottles.
The cask was selected and spiced based on the results of a formal tasting conducted with members of the Calgary Caribbean community. A special thanks to the following people that participated in the selection process.
